With three courses (one of which is private) and two others on the drawing board, Santa Ponsa is an impressive residential resort, a fact that can be hard to forget even when you are on the course.

Santa Ponsa has very little privacy. Folco Nardi's layout is discreet and rather conventional with nothing exceptional in terms of inspiration.

Strangely, Santa Ponsa is harder to play from the front-tees than from the back. Owing to the very little difference between tee-positions, the length of the course can be intimidating for high-handicappers and ladies. First time out, match play will be much more fun than trying to play your handicap. The ball onto the green. The main hazard is the water. Upkeep is good.

Santa Ponsa is one of Mallorca's most active courses and many national and international tournaments take place here including the Professional Spanish Championship Match between Spain and Belgium.
