Santa Maria Golf Course18 holes 5586 Metres Par 70. Location:- Costa del Sol Santa Maria’s first nine holes were designed by Antonio Garcia Garrido, with the second nine, designed by the club's technical staff. The course opened in 1996, and has now matured into one of the finest along the coast. Santa Maria golf course is located in a setting of incomparable natural beauty, set back in the mountains of Andalusia. It runs through two valleys, with great views of the Mediterranean, in one of the most densely wooded areas of the municipality. Becoming more popular each year, the golf course offers an interesting layout with many elevated tees, lush fairways, undulating terrain and well placed bunkers. The 7th hole is one of the most beautiful on the course. A long par-3, downhill, with lateral water to the right. The fairway is large, and the green is very well protected by three bunkers. The two tiered green makes this one even more difficult. The 14th also begins with a very high tee, flanks a lake and ends up at a green with a waterfall to the right. The course is surrounded by numerous apartment buildings, but this does not detract from its beauty. It also has two practice golf courses, three putting greens and five short holes. Santa Maria offers players a challenging game with a view of both the mountains and the Mediterranean. Amenities include the 19th-century clubhouse, restaurant with terrace, bars, lounges and snooker room. There are also tennis courts, swimming pool and a lawn bowls club on the club's grounds. Buggies recommended. To Book anything from a single Tee Time to a complete golfing holiday package please contact us Golf
