Peralada Golf Course is a very tactical course as first of all you have to avoid the sand by either carrying the bunkers or laying up short. There are also the many trees seem to drift into the fairways when and where they want. Then on five holes you have to decide whether to carry a wildish river located about thirty meters in front of the greens.
These difficulties take absolutely nothing away from the golf courses openness, where a few gentle doglegs and out of bounds help keep players focused. With a little concentration you might even play to your handicap at Peralada.
Peralada is a pleasant course for all the family where everyone can choose the tees that suit them best. Like the fairways and the greens, the thick rough is dotted with olive trees.
