Los Olivos Golf Course Spain |
||
Los Olivos Golf Course at Mijas Golf ClubLocation:- Costa del Sol The Los Olivos golf course is 5840 Metres and Par 72. It was designed by Robert Trent Senior and restyled a few years ago. The main feature which distinguishes this course from Los Lagos is the abundance of trees, hence the name and its smaller size.It also has fewer water hazards and although the greens are smaller they to are undulating and well defended. Although golf courses are the work of the same designer, there is no doubt that there are interesting contrasts between the two.If Los Lagos is based on hazards of water and sand, Los Olivos has strategic narrow tree lined fairways and elevated greens. Los Olivos has five par 5s, and five par 3s which provide lots of variety. Though slightly shorter than the neighbouring Los Lagos, this golf course is no less attractive or challenging. The undulating fairways are lined with olive trees, and the fast greens are well protected by some large, twisting bunkers. This is not a course for attacking players, and the general layout makes this fun for playing with the family when scores are less important than having a good time. The greens are beautifully kept and the course never fails to disappoint. Definitely worth a visit. Facilities at Mijas Golf Club include:- All-weather driving range, practice bunkers and greens, tuition supported by video from a team of qualified teaching professionals, pro shop, restaurant and bar, clubhouse. Soft spikes only. To Book anything from a single Tee Time to a complete golfing holiday package please contact us Golf
