One of the busiest golf courses on the Costa del Sol, Los Lagos is the longer of the two courses at Mijas Golf Club.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior, this course is suitable for big hitters. The course is relatively flat with wide fairways, virtually no rough and a few trees as obstacles. However, aptly named, Los Lagos has no fewer than nine water hazards to negotiate.

The many bunkers have been designed not only to defend the large, contoured greens, but also to trap players who try and cut corners on the dog legs. These large, undulating greens are in excellent condition and although fast they pitch well.

The flat open fairways and well cut rough will raise your confidence, however the well positioned bunkers will require accuracy with your approach shots to score well.
