This course continues in the vein of La Torre, with 9 holes designed by Dave Thomas and an extension to 18 holes by Nicklaus. There are several water obstacles, but not too much sand. The fairways are wide and the holes reachable.

The Mar Menor Golf Resort is located in the municipal area of Torre Pacheco. It is 5 minutes away from the Mar Menor ( 6 km ), and 29 minutes from the capital Murcia, 38 km from Alicante international airport( flights to England and North Europe ) and 8 km from San Javier ( Murcia )

The new Alicante to Cartagena motorway is 2km away, and the Madrid to Murcia motorway 5 km away.
