Isla Baja Golf Course is located in the north western district of Tenerife known as Isla Baja, famed for its moderate climate.

The formal presentation of the Isla Baja Golf Course Project, attended by Severiano Ballesteros was held in December 1998. The aim of this initiative is to create a new kind of holiday facility in which sports and leisure are to the fore, but which is at the same time perfectly integrated in an area of natural beauty where only spa hotels and services complementary to the golf course will be permitted.
