This will be the next course to be opened to the public towards the end of this year (2007). It has the novel feature of Paspalum grass to make golf more sustainable on a national level. This variety of grass has many similarities with the Bermuda grasses, but it tolerates a high salinity in its irrigation water, as well as being resistant to drought and high temperatures.

The Hacienda Riquelme Golf Course is located in Sucina ( Murcia ) 5 minutes from the Murcia – San Javier motorway. Murcia can be reached in only 15 minutes ( 37 km ), the Mar Menor in 20 minutes( 23 km ), Cartagena in 30 minutes ( 46 km ), San Javier airport in 20 minutes ( 33 km ) and Alicante airport in 45 minutes ( 91 km ).
