El Cortijo Club de Campo
El Cortijo was designed by Blake Stirling and Marco Martin it is a 18 hole golf course par 72. The length is 5833 metres long.
Located within an estate covering three valleys, the El Cortijo Club de Campo is perfectly integrated into the surrounding environment. A magnificent palm grove with six hundred trees over one hundred years old lends the natural landscape true beauty. The fairway grass is of the "Bermuda 419" type and the greens are planted with the providence strain of the Agrotis type, both reflecting the care and expense which has gone into this course.
Designed to host major International tournaments, like the Spanish Open, and situated just six kilometres from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the eighteen holes at El Cortijo are situated among six lakes which make it particularly attractive for a game. When playing this course you can enjoy spectacular views of the sea that surrounds the island.
The greens are fast, with a lot of movement, it is a very challenging course.
