The architect Hamilton Stutt has produced this pleasant golf course without too many difficulties. It is a course that players of all levels and ages can spend an enjoyable day.
On the Costa Brava Golf Course the ground relief is moderate, with a few gentle slopes. There alternating wide and tight fairways edged by pine and oak trees that are often very much in play. You will often have to work the ball to get around them by either placing the ball over the top, or keep it low below the branches.
The greens are well defended and correctly designed, but most of them can be approached with chip shots. Only one green is blind which reflects the thinking behind the whole golf course, namely golf is for everyone, and while there are demanding courses, there should also be courses for average players.
This is one such course however, that even the best players will still have bags of fun. Overall this course is well worth a visit, if you are ever in the superb surroundings of Catalonia.
