Everything you need to enjoy golf is at PGA Golf de Catalunya. It is one of the few courses in Europe that has all the necessary conditions for both professionals and amateurs to play golf at the highest level. This PGA European Tour venue was born from the joint efforts of the PGA European tour Courses, Racc, ACS, and Vichy Catalan.
PGA golf de Catalunya has all the necessary features for being one of Europe's best courses. It is located in the village of Caldes de Malavella close to Girona, and it is only 50 minutes by car from Barcelona. The surroundings are soothed by the Mediterranean breeze with a mild climate amidst fairways lined with old oak trees, evergreens and heather.
PGA golf de Catalunya was designed by Angel Gallardo and Neil Coles, who put their knowledge gleaned from more than 25 years on the European tour into this project. The course has a very special 18-hole layout. There are five different tees for each hole, making it the only course in Spain with this feature allowing players of any handicap to enjoy a good round of golf.
The course design has been adapted to the rolling landscape. Lakes have been created to collect most of the rain water, wet zones of ecological value have been set aside and majestic trees respected, resulting in a course of exceptional standards.
The golf course also offers a large bar, delightful restaurant, pro shop, buggy and caddy hire, sports facilities, practice green and a short game practice facility.
