Built in 1972 and then renovated in 2002 this fantastic hotel has five floors, and two lifts. The hotel is fully air conditioned with 180 double rooms and 20 single rooms. All with balcony and sea views. Each room is complete with its own bathroom with hair dyer, make-up mirror, ceiling fan, air conditioning, heating, fitted carpets, direct dialling telephone, safety deposit box (extra), refrigerator, and a satellite TV.
Hotel Acorn Borneo also has family rooms, and rooms for non-smokers as well as facilities for the handicapped. The hotel contains a barbecue, lounge bar, conference room, satellite TV lounge.
